Make sure you dust the wooden shovel with enough flour before placing the dough on it. This will help the dough slide smoothly over the brick. - How do I clean the stone?
After use, allow the stone to cool completely. Wipe off excess flour with a dry cloth and scrape off stubborn residue with a knife or scouring pad (dry or slightly damp). Do not immerse the stone in water as it may absorb moisture, potentially causing damage during future use. Always ensure that the stone is dry before using it again to prevent cracking. Dark spots from baked-on residue are normal and do not affect the performance of the stone. - In which devices can I use the brick?
The baking stone is ideal for standard ovens and fits perfectly with Rommelsbacher mini ovens, including the models BG 1600 PizzAvanti and BG 1650. It is designed to withstand temperatures of up to 300 °C. We do not recommend using the stone on gas grills or for grilling, as its porosity can absorb juices from the food.
